Manfred Ludwig Mayer

Manfred Ludwig Mayer (born April 11, 1934 in Magdeburg ) is a German SPD politician .

education and profession

After elementary school and grammar school, which he finished in 1949 with the upper secondary qualification, Manfred Ludwig Mayer completed a technical apprenticeship which he completed with the skilled worker examination. From 1952 to 1962 he worked as an electrical engineer. In 1964 he finished his training as a career counselor. He then worked as a career advisor. From 1968 to 1980 Mayer was head of a working group for central professional measures and exhibitions and most recently he was an employee of the state employment office in North Rhine-Westphalia. In 1982 he took a leave of absence.

politics

Manfred Ludwig Mayer has been a member of the SPD since 1961. From 1965 to 1980 he was an arbitrator and from 1970 to 1980 chairman of the arbitrators' association for the district court district of Düsseldorf. From 1969 to 1980 he was a member of the City Council of Düsseldorf. Mayer was district chairman of the Düsseldorf workers' welfare, deputy chairman of the advisory board of the Düsseldorf penal institution and a member of the Düsseldorf student union.

Manfred Ludwig Mayer was from May 29, 1980 to May 31, 1995 directly elected member of the 9th, 10th and 11th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 048 Düsseldorf V.
