Manfred Schlögl

Manfred Schlögl (born July 8, 1940 in Vorau ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and high school professor. In 1975 he was a member of the National Council .

After primary school, Schlögl attended secondary school in Vorau and then graduated from the secondary school in Fürstenfeld . After graduating from high school , he studied philosophy, history and German as a teacher at the University of Vienna and completed his studies with the academic degree Magister. After that, from 1965 Schlögl worked as a teacher at the music-pedagogical federal high school in Hartberg . In addition, he became involved as a local councilor and cultural advisor in Hartberg from 1969 , and from 1971 he was also the main district chairman of the Austrian workers 'and salaried workers' association in Hartberg. He represented the ÖVP between June 30, 1975 and November 4, 1975 in the National Council. From 1992 to 2004 Schlögl was mayor of the city of Hartberg .
