The Manganui River is a river in the region Northland on the North Island of New Zealand .
It drains 90 km 2 of hill country. With the exception of the Tangihua Ranges, most of its catchment area is below 150 meters. Since the river flows slowly and meanders through its marshy valley, floods occur regularly during floods.
