Manni Schmidt
Manfred "Manni" Schmidt (born November 27, 1964 in Andernach , Germany) is a heavy metal guitarist and songwriter. He became known through longstanding memberships in the bands Rage and Grave Digger .
Life
Schmidt started his career with his own band Factor 6. Between 1987 and 1994 he was a member of the band Rage , with whom he recorded numerous albums. In 2000 he replaced the guitarist Uwe Lulis in the heavy metal band Grave Digger . By the end of his membership with Grave Digger in September 2009, he released numerous albums with this band. In September 2014 he founded the band "Crash Gate 6". Since January 2015 he has been live again under the name Refuge with the former Rage line-up Peavy Wagner and Christos Efthimiadis .
