Manometry

Under manometry is defined as the physical pressure measurement by means of a pressure gauge in a locked room. In medicine , manometry is often used to determine the pressure of the esophagus ( esophageal manometry ) and intestine . Functional disorders in these organs can thus be detected. In urology, cystomanometry ( urodynamic examination ) is used to classify voiding disorders.
