The Mansion House in London is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London .

The building was constructed in the Palladian style by George Dance the Elder between 1739 and 1752 . The basement is as rustication designed, are built on the three floors. The front facade is dominated by a portico with six Corinthian columns . Originally there were also two superstructures on the building, which were called "Mayor's Nest" and "Noahs Ark". The superstructure was demolished in 1795 by the son of the original architect, George Dance the Younger, as part of a redesign of the roof.

A banquet is held annually in the Mansion House in the second half of June or July. On this occasion, the UK Treasury Secretary traditionally gives a special address, the Mansion House speech .

The Armistice for the Irish War of Independence was signed in the Mansion House on July 11, 1921 .
