Manuela Goller

Manuela Goller (born January 5, 1971 in Wipperfürth ) is a former German soccer player on the goalkeeper position .

Career

Manuela Goller played for SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach and Grün-Weiß Brauweiler . In 1997, she and Brauweiler won the last German championship title held in a final against FC Rumeln-Kaldenhausen (5: 3 nE). In 1994 and 1997 the goalkeeper also won the DFB Cup . She made her first international match for the DFB in 1990 in a game against England . By 1996 Goller had played 45 international matches. In 1995 she won the European Championship final against Sweden (3-2) with the national team . At the 1995 World Cup , she was runner-up with the German team. The following year she took part in the Olympic Games at the end of her national team career.

Award

After winning the European Football Championship in 1995, she was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf with the national team .
