Testa was included in the Italian national grass ski squad in 1997. In the same year she celebrated her greatest success at national level by winning the Italian slalom championship. Her first international success came at the Junior World Championships in 2000 when she won the bronze medal in slalom. In 2003, the then 20-year-old celebrated her greatest successes. At the Junior World Championships in Goldingen , she won the Super-G and the combined, came second in giant slalom and third in slalom. At the 2003 World Championships in Castione della Presolana , she reached fourth place in the Super-G and fifth in the giant slalom. The 2003 season was also her most successful in the World Cup . With several top 10 placements, she reached seventh place in the overall World Cup. At the beginning of the 2004 season, Testa competed in two FIS races in Traisen , after which she ended her career.
