Maoshan Daoyuan

The Maoshan Daoyuan ( Daoist Temple in the Maoshan Mountains ) ( Chinese  茅山 道 院 , Pinyin Máoshān Dàoyuàn , English Maoshan Daoist Temple / Mt.Mao Daoist Temple ) is a Daoist temple in the Maoshan Mountains (Mao Shan) in the area of ​​the city of Jurong in the Chinese province of Jiangsu . It is a famous site of Daoism and is on the list of the 21 most important Daoist temples of the Chinese State Council. The Daoist Shangqing School ( Shangqing pai ) is also called Maoshan School ( Maoshan pai ). The temple has its own orchestra.
