Mappae clavicle
The Mappae Clavicula is an art-technological treatise from the late 12th century. The document originated in England or Normandy and was written in Latin . It adopts many recipes from the Leiden papyrus and the Lucca manuscript . The first part deals with book illumination, the second with metal science, alchemy and art technology.
