Wilhelm Ganzenmüller

Karl Wilhelm Ganzenmüller (born June 13, 1882 in Calw ; † September 3, 1955 in Tübingen ) was a German science historian and teacher who mainly dealt with the history of alchemy in the Middle Ages .

Life

After completing his doctorate, Wilhelm Ganzenmüller entered higher education, and from 1920 he was senior director of studies in Breslau. In 1933 he retired and studied the history of alchemy and chemical technology. From 1938 he worked at the Gmelin Institute, a. a. he wrote historical introductions to individual volumes for Gmelin's Handbook of Inorganic Chemistry.
