María Auxiliadora Correa Zamora

María Auxiliadora Correa Zamora (born May 24, 1972 in Badajoz ) is a Spanish politician of the Partido Popular .

In 1996, Correa Zamora obtained a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Extremadura , after which she worked as an expert in risk prevention in the workplace, including for the University of Barcelona . At the PP she was a member of the local praesidium in Puebla de la Calzada as well as the executive committee and the presidium in the province of Badajoz . From 1995 to 2012 she was a member of the City Council of Puebla de la Calzada, from 2000 to 2004 and from 2007 to 2008 she was a senator . In January 2012, she replaced the resigned MP Íñigo Méndez de Vigo in the European Parliament . She is also an active member of the Badajoz Rural Women's Association.
