María Duval (actress, 1937)

María Duval (born María Dussauge Ortiz ; born August 2, 1937 in Santiago de Querétaro ) is a Mexican actress and singer.

Duval began her career with appearances in television and theater productions in Mexico City. She made her film debut in 1959 in the musical Melodías inolvidables . In the early 1960s she recorded several music albums, at the same time she continued to work on her film career. She worked several times with actors like El Santo , Marc Antonio Campos , Gaspar Hernaine and Antonio Aguilar . She had the climax of her success in 1966, in which seven films were made with her. Duval is the aunt of the actress Consuelo Duval and great-aunt of the actors Michel Duval and Paly Duval .

Her acting work includes around 50 productions, only very rarely did she work for television. She last appeared as an actress in the mid-1990s.
