María José Cristerna (* 1976 in Jalisco ) is a Mexican lawyer, entrepreneur, activist, freak artist and professional tattoo artist; she is also known as the Vampire Woman or the Jaguar Woman . It is entered in the Guinness Book of Records under “Most body modifications (female)” .

Life

María José Cristerna was born in 1976 in the state of Jalisco, Guadalajara (Mexico). She grew up in a religious family. After graduating from high school, she studied law and became a lawyer. Their modifications include forked tongue, subcutaneous implants, tattoos, pyrisins, ear augmentations, ocular tattoos, scarifications, dental implants. In addition to her work as a lawyer, she is an entrepreneur and owns her own tattoo studio and boutique, in which she sells her own clothing line “Mujeres vampiro” (Vampire Women).

In April 2017 she appeared as a star guest at the "Wildstyle & Tattoo Fair" in Austria and visited studios in Innsbruck, Vienna and Salzburg with other artists.
