The Marburg Society for Regulatory Issues in Business is a registered association at the Philipps University of Marburg . The chairman is the economist Alfred Schüller , professor at the University of Marburg. The association conducts research in order economics .

The association was founded on October 23, 1993. Its purpose is to promote research into economic and social systems and the dialogue between scientists from different countries with different economic systems.

For this purpose, research projects and scientific events are carried out, to which foreign scientists in particular are invited. The association publishes the research results and translates them into other languages.

In addition to natural persons, the association also has corporate members.

In cooperation with the research center for the comparison of economic steering systems at the Philipps University of Marburg, the Marburg Society for Regulatory Issues in the Economy publishes the "Working Reports on System Comparison".
