Marc Bati

Marc Bati (born March 30, 1960 ) is a French comic artist and scenarioist .

Marc Bati published his first comics at the age of 17. In these early years he worked mainly as an advertising artist. In 1982 he met Jean Giraud and two fantasy short stories with his participation were written for the magazine Métal hurlant . This was followed by the trilogy Le Cristal Majeur (Eng. The large crystal ) as an album series by Dargaud . From 1992 four more albums followed under the name Altor , the main character of the series. As a scriptwriter , Bati supervised the three-volume series Sylfeline for the illustrator Bruno Bellamy from 1993 to 1997.
