Marc Freund (* 1972 in Flensburg ) is a German author. Growing up in Osterholz on the Baltic Sea , he published his first short story in 1989.

Works

Marc Freund began his career as a radio play writer for the crime series Lady Bedfort of the radio play label Hörplanet in Osnabrück. In the further course, the collaboration took place in many other radio play productions such as Sherlock Holmes: The new cases on behalf of the label Romantruhe Audio. Freund also works for the series Professor van Dusen - the new cases (Maritim / Allscore Media, with the collaboration of the original author Michael Koser), Jules Verne: The new adventures of Phileas Fogg (Maritim), Geister-Schocker (Romantruhe Audio), Gespenster-Krimi (Audionarchie / Contendo Media), Pater Brown (Maritim), Edgar Wallace (Hörplanet), Charlie Chan (Allscore Media), Insel-Krimi (Contendo Media), MindNapping (Audionarchie) and Holy Horror (Holysoft). His first self-staged radio play Freifahrt reached 2nd place out of 60 entries in the Timmendorfer Strand literature competition in April 2012.

In March 2013, his radio play version of Agatha Christie's novel Caribbean Affair was performed several times at Berlin theaters.

His radio play Das Gasthaus an der Thames followed in September 2013 , which was streamed two months later as a live production in the online portal Hauptstadtradio.berlin (Opus Bonum) .

Since 2010 Freund has been writing the crime series Dr. Cornelius Stahl - Murderous Abysses . The stories about the eccentric forensic psychologist have been published regularly as e-books and audio books since then .

His first crime novel Das Haus am Abgrund was published by Boyens-Verlag, Heide , in March 2013 . Further works from the same publisher appeared as follows:
