Marcel Lorenz

Marcel Lorenz (born January 5, 1982 in Sonneberg ) is a former German luge athlete .

Marcel Lorenz had been a luge since 1990 and started for the BSR Rennsteig Oberhof . Even in the youth sector, he started out in a two-seater with Christian Baude . Her greatest success with the juniors was a third place in the junior world championships in 2002. The sports soldier of the Bundeswehr ( staff sergeant ) qualified with his partner by a second place in the world cup race in Oberhof 2005 for the world championships 2005 . There the duo reached a 12th place. At the end of February 2008 Lorenz / Baude ended their career.
