Marcel Mojzeš

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marcel Mojzeš (* around 1950) is a geodesist and university professor for higher geodesy at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava .

His research mainly concerns theoretical and physical geodesy , gravimetry and geodetic astronomy . In the last decade there were two main focuses of his institute, whose alternate direction (with Ján Hefty ) he held until about 2003:

The astro-geodetic part of the second project, working his group with the Zirkumzenital , manufactured by the Czech Vugt -Institut. The Circum Zenithal is the Prismenastrolab related instrument, which deflections can be measured with an accuracy of about ± 0.3 "(corresponding to a € coin on 15 km distance). Mojzeš 'further plans are a comparison with measurements from a zenith camera and the inclusion of geological data in the calculations of the gravity potential .
