Marcella Schmidt di Friedberg
Marcella Schmidt Muller Di Friedberg (* 1958 in Palermo ) is an Italian human geographer .
Marcella Schmidt di Friedberg received her PhD in human geography and history from the University of Milan in 1984 . After her studies, she worked as a tour guide for cultural and historical tours. In addition, she dealt with work on tourism in post-industrial society and the problems of mass tourism on the Mediterranean islands. Today di Friedberg teaches as a professor at the Department of Human Geography at the University of Milan.
