Marcello Brusegan

Marcello Brusegan (* 1954 in Venice ; † January 17, 2016 ibid) was an Italian art historian and deputy director of the Venetian Biblioteca Marciana . Within a few years he wrote numerous guides to the palaces and churches of Venice, but also works on the cuisine of Venice, as well as a biographical overview. In addition, he wrote a history of Venice and dealt with the myths and legends of the city.

The conference Le Regine dell'Adriatico: Adria, Spina, Altino, Ravenna e Venezia , organized by Marciana 2016, was held in memory of Marcello Brusegan.
