Reviews

“With the first of four“ Hell Freezes Over ”versions that extend over the entire disc, the Norwegians“ Gazpacho ”immediately deliver their strongest performance in their meanwhile seventh work“ March Of The Ghosts ”, which is through a hymn-like chorus within the quite calm overall structure up to melancholy settings offers everything that one expects from a progressive rock band with post approaches. "

- Markus Peters on crossfire-metal.de

"This album has everything, vast cinematic soundscapes, beautiful subtlety, fantastic atmospheres, intelligent and thought provoking lyrics and a way of drawing in the listener and leaving them with several glorious hooks, both musical and lyrical, playing on repeat in the synapses."

- progarchives.com

“March of Ghosts” has become a typical Gazpacho album that serves the same niches as its predecessors. The music is mostly solid (that's ok), the mood is always noble (ok too), the arrangements are sovereign (ok anyway) and adjectives like “hymnic” or “elegiac” should also not be missing in the description of the music. Here and there there is a Celtic touch or, as with “Tick Tock”, it is subtly Arabic. It's not innovative, no, it even looks slightly different for my taste. "

- Günter Schote on babyblaue-seiten.de

“March of Ghosts - the listener can have the feeling that Gazpacho are now stepping on the spot. For me, however, the impression prevails that Gazpacho are further refining their art and this time they have recorded a particularly calm and atmospheric album that contains so much wonderful, eerie music that you can sink into it again. "

Cover

The artistic design of the cover and the booklet was the responsibility of Antonio Seijas, a Spanish artist with whom Gazpacho has been working for several albums.
