In August 2015, Crimi moved to the first division club FC Bologna . Despite relegation, Carpi signed Crimi in the summer of 2016, but loaned him to AC Cesena in January despite being a regular. In Cesena, Crimi played the second half of the 2016/17 season and also played a game for Cesena at the beginning of the 2017/18 season . On August 31, 2017, however, it was sold to Virtus Entella .

In the national team

From 2011 to 2013 Crimi played for Italy's U-21 team . At the U-21 European Championship in 2013 , he was able to become vice European champion with the Azzurrini .
