Marco Knorr

Marco Knorr is a former German American football player and current coach.

career

Knorr began playing American football in 1990 in the youth of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes . Knorr, who was employed in the position of the wide receiver , was a member of the Kiel men's team from 1991 to 1998. In 1995 he made promotion to the football Bundesliga with the North Germans . In 1997 Knorr was appointed to the German national team.

In the late 1990s he went to the United States , studied at Urbana University (State of Ohio ) and was a member of their football team. He then played and studied from 2002 to 2002 at the West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech). At the latter university he earned a 2002 bachelor's degree , in 2004 came at the Illinois State University , a master's degree added.

Knorr was a member of the coaching staff at Illinois State University, where he looked after the running backs for two years . In 2004 he was a coach at Union College , Kentucky . In 2005 and 2006 he worked for the Cologne Centurions in NFL Europe as a trainer for running backs and players with special tasks. He returned to Union College and was there from 2007 as a member of the coaching staff for the positions of quarterback and wide receiver as well as the players with special tasks. In 2012, Knorr switched to the position of attack coordinator on the coaching staff of the same university team and continued to oversee the quarterback position.

Until 2013 Knorr was in the all-time best list of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes with 484 points, before he was overtaken by Timo Groß .
