Marco Polo Del Nero (born February 22, 1941 in São Paulo , Brazil ) is a Brazilian lawyer and was a member of the FIFA Executive Committee .

Del Nero has been President of the Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) since 2003 . In 2007 he became a member of the Executive Committee of the continental association CONMEBOL . On March 23, 2012, CONMEBOL elected him to succeed the resigned Ricardo Teixeira on the FIFA Executive Committee and in April 2014 he was elected to succeed José Maria Marin as President of the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) from April 1, 2015.

After he was accused of corruption investigations against FIFA officials , he resigned from his post as a member of the FIFA Executive Committee on November 26, 2015 and resigned as CBF President for 180 days on December 3, 2015 after the FIFA Ethics Committee had initiated proceedings against him. Shortly thereafter, a number of former top Brazilian players, including Pele, Rai and Zico, wrote an open letter calling for Del Nero to resign.
