Marcus Arrecinus Gemellus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Marcus Arrecinus Gemellus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 1st century AD .

Three military diplomas dated October 27, 1990 prove that Gemellus was in 90 command of the Cohors I Aquitanorum , which at that time was stationed in the province of Germania superior . He probably came from Pisaurum , today's Pesaro . There may be a family connection with the family of Marcus Arrecinus Clemens .
