Marcus Aurelius Castus

Marcus Aurelius Castus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .

An inscription that was found at the Habitancum fort and which is dated to 201/300 shows that Castus was a tribune . According to John Spaul , he was the tribune of the Cohors I Vangionum , which was stationed in the province of Britannia .
