Lucius Aemilius Salvianus

Lucius Aemilius Salvianus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD .

By an inscription at the fort Habitancum was found and is dated to 205/208, there is evidence that Salvianus tribune of Cohors I Vangionum milliaria equitata was that in the province of Britannia was stationed. An altar with a dedicatory inscription , which Salvianus had erected, was also found near the fort .
