Iulius Paullus

Iulius Paullus (his praenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .

By an inscription at the fort Habitancum was found and dated to 201/300, there is evidence that Paullus tribune of Cohors I Vangionum was that in the province of Britannia was stationed. A dedicatory inscription was also found near the fort , which Paullus had erected.
