Marcus Boon
Marcus Bernard Boon (* 1963 ) is a British English professor and university lecturer.
Life
Boon grew up as the son of English-German parents in London . He studied English literature at University College London . In 1987 he moved to New York and worked there as a freelance writer. He received his doctorate in 2000 with Richard Sieburth in comparative literature at New York University . Boon teaches 20th and 21st century literature and cultural theory in the English Department of York University .
