Marcus Gavius ​​Cornelius Cethegus was a 2nd century Roman politician and senator .

Cethegus probably came from Verona and was a son of Marcus Gavius ​​Squilla Gallicanus , who had been consul in 150 . He served his father as a proconsular legate in Asia . In 170 Cethegus held the ordinary consulate together with Gaius Erucius Clarus .
