Marcus Nonius Mucianus

Marcus Nonius Mucianus was a Roman politician living in the 2nd century AD . In an inscription, his full name is given as Publius Delphius Peregrinus Alfius Alennius Maximus Curtius Valerianus Proculus Marcus Nonius Mucianus .

A military diploma dated May 19, 135, shows that Mucianus 135 was governor of the province of Pannonia Inferior . Another diploma, dated October 10, 138, proves that he was in 138 together with Publius Cassius Secundus suffect consul ; the two took office on October 1st. The consuls couple is also listed in two other inscriptions.
