Marcus Pontius Laelianus

Marcus Pontius Laelianus was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD

Laelianus may have come from Baeterrae in the Roman province of Gallia Narbonensis , his father was the senator and officer Marcus Pontius Laelianus Larcius Sabinus . In 163 Laelianus held the ordinary consulate and in the year 166/167 he was a legate of the province of Moesia inferior (Lower Moesia ).
