Marel is an Icelandic mechanical engineering company specializing in machines, services and software for the food industry.

The company is divided into three main divisions, each of which addresses the poultry, meat and fish processing industries. Marel develops, builds and sells machines and systems for processes along the entire value chain of the food processing industry, from slaughter to packaging.
