Maresias

Maresias is a district of the city ​​of São Sebastião in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . The place is on the Atlantic Ocean . Its approximately 5 km long stretch of beach faces south. The place and is naturally separated by a mountain range of the Serra do Mar from the neighboring places Boiçucanga in the west and Paúba in the east. At the eastern end of the beach, the river of the same name flows into the Atlantic.

In terms of tourism, the place is relatively well developed; there are numerous hotels and restaurants in close proximity to the beach. It is considered a popular surfing region and one of the most famous clubs in Brazil for electronic music is located in town. As a result, the place is strikingly known for its size in Brazil.
