Margaret Hendrie
Margaret Hendrie (* 1935 as Margaret Griffith ; † 1990 in Nauru ) was the lyricist of the Nauru national anthem Nauru Bwiema ( German "Nauru, our homeland" ), which was then set to music by Laurence Henry Hicks and on January 31, 1968 for the independence of the republic Nauru was premiered.
