Margaret Wild
Margaret Wild (* 1948 in Eshowe , South Africa ) is an Australian writer.
Wild grew up in Johannesburg . During and after school she wrote for local newspapers and magazines. In 1972 she moved to Sydney and worked as a journalist and editor for a children's book publisher. She has written over 40 books for children and young people and is one of the best-known Australian authors.
