Margarete Roderig (born April 18, 1957 in Essen ) is a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Margarete Roderig received her Abitur in 1975. She then trained as a hotel and restaurant assistant until 1978. Until 1986 she carried out various professional activities. She attended the Hanover Hotel Management School from 1986 to 1988 and graduated as a state-certified business economist for the hotel and catering industry. From 1988 to 1991 Roderig worked as a housekeeping manager and deputy monastery director in a residential monastery. Since 1992 she has been the head of the “Central Planning” department at Haus der Technik eV, Essen.

politics

Margarete Roderig has been a member of the CDU since 1976. From 1977 to 1979 she was a member of the Essen district board of the Junge Union and city district chairwoman Essen-Borbeck of the Junge Union. Since October 1, 1999, she has been the parliamentary group spokesperson for the CDU parliamentary group in the district council IV Essen-Borbeck. Roderig has been a member of the CDU's Essen-Borbeck local committee since 1993. She has been a member of the city district association board since 1993.

Margarete Roderig was a member of the 12th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from October 4, 1999 to June 1, 2000, to which she moved.
