Marginal Tiete - officially SP 15 or Via Professor Simão Faiguenboim - is a city highway in Brazil's Sao Paulo . It runs on both banks of the Rio Tietê and is the city's most important and busiest motorway.

The Marginal Tietê was inaugurated in 1957. Due to the high volume of traffic, the governor of São Paulo, José Serra , announced the beginning of a longer expansion in early June 2009. On July 27, 2011, his successor Geraldo Alckmin was able to inaugurate a new bridge spanning the river. There is a speed limit of 70 km / h on Marginal Tietê.
