Margot Bennett (writer)

Margot Bennett (* 1912 in Lenzie , East Dunbartonshire , Scotland ; † December 6, 1980 ) was an English writer and screenwriter of Scottish origin.

Life

Bennett spent all of her school years alternately in Scotland and Australia . When the civil war broke out in Spain , she volunteered in 1936 and helped there as a nurse.

After the end of World War II , Bennett began to write; in addition to some crime novels , she also published in the genre science fiction .
