Margrit Wahrstätter

Margrit Wahrstätter (* 1954 ) is a former Swiss politician ( EPP ). From 1998 to 2002 she was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau .

For many years she was a resident's councilor in the municipality where she lived in Wettingen, and for two years she was the only woman to date to serve as resident council president. In 1998 she became a member of the Aargau Grand Council. In her function as a member of the council, Wahrstätter was a member of the SFBC and also on the petitions commission for three years. She was also a member of the special commission on the Law on the Employment of Teachers. Brigitte Müller-Kaderli was her successor in the Grand Council . From May 2002 to July 2016 she was the principal of the special education school in Wettingen.

Margrit Wahrstätter is married and has grown-up children.
