Maria Ciobanu is a Moldovan summer biathlete .

Maria Ciobanu took part in the Summer Biathlon European Championships in Bansko in 2008 and finished ninth with nine shooting errors. In the mass start race she was disqualified according to IBU rule 7.5.v. After Irina Omelciuc she was the best participant from Moldova in the European Championship, but Dimitria Ciobanu was nominated for the relay race .
