Maria Dorndorf

Maria Wilhelmine Dorndorf (* 1920 ; † April 23, 2009 in Aachen - Schleckheim ) was a German psychologist .

Dorndorf studied psychology (Dipl.-Psych.) And was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. 1957 Dorndorf was appointed to the ordinary university professorship in psychology with an emphasis Educational Psychology and Developmental Psychology , especially personality psychology at the University of Dortmund . In 1984 she retired.

She got involved in numerous social projects in the Holy Land . In 1972 Maria Dorndorf was appointed by Cardinal Grand Master Maximilien Cardinal de Fürstenberg as Lady of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and on December 9, 1972 in the Aachen Imperial Cathedral by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy, and Hermann Josef Abs , Lieutenant in Germany, invested.
