Maria Hohneck

Maria Hohneck (born before 1895; died after 1915) was a German graphic artist and illustrator.

life and work

She was the daughter of the landscape painter, lithographer and graphic artist Adolf Hohneck . Like her father, she also became a graphic designer. Between 1895 and 1915 numerous children's books illustrated by her appeared. She last lived in the Saxon capital Dresden.

Some of the children's books illustrated by her are still published today.
