Maria Skrafnaki ( Greek Μαρία Σκραφνάκη , born December 9, 1960 in Voutes / today Iraklio ) is a Greek politician.

Skrafnaki studied law at the University of Athens . She has practiced as a lawyer in Heraklion since 1987.

Maria Skrafnaki is a member of the social democratic PASOK . From 1980 to 1991 she was the mayor of her home town of Voutes, and since 1993 she has also been chairwoman of the Malevyzio Water Management Association; From 1999 to 2001 she was Deputy Mayor of Heraklion, responsible for public works, housing and urban development. She then served as Secretary General of the Western Macedonia administrative region until 2004 .

In the Greek parliamentary elections in September 2007 she was elected as a member of the Greek Parliament from Heraklion , and re-elected in the parliamentary elections in October 2009 .

Maria Skrafnaki is married and has two children.
