The Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Good Advice is located in Pohoří na Šumavě (German: Buchers ) in the municipality of Pohorská Ves ( Theresiendorf ) in the Czech Republic near the Austrian border near Karlstift . It belongs to the diocese of Budweis .
history
In 1779 a wooden chapel was built in Buchers. From 1783 to 1791 Johann Graf von Buquoyent had the baroque church built. After the Germans were expelled from Czechoslovakia after 1945 and because of the border location in the restricted area, the church gradually fell into disrepair. In 1999 the church tower collapsed and the nave was destroyed.
Since 2005, the Bucherser Heimatverein has been committed to the reconstruction of the church under chairman Erich Altmann, some of which has already been carried out and is still in progress.
In September each year, Bucher's destination is a pilgrimage from the Bucherser Kirtag, which has been celebrated in Karlstift since 1981.
