Mariama Sarr-Ceesay

Mariama Sarr-Ceesay (* 20th century) is a politician in the West African state of Gambia . She was briefly in 2012 higher education and research minister ( Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Sciense ) in the Cabinet Yahya Jammeh .

Life

The doctorate Mariama Sarr-Ceesay worked as a consultant in education and was appointed on 6 February 2012 by President Jammeh to the cabinet as Minister of Higher Education and Research. After Mamadou Tangara was recalled, this ministerial office came under the presidency and has been vacant since June 2010. Sarr-Ceesay was dismissed from the cabinet in April 2012 for no reason.
