Mariana Rey Monteiro
Mariana Dolores Rey Colaço Robles Monteiro (born December 28, 1922 in Lisbon , † October 20, 2010 there ) was a Portuguese actress .
Career
Rey Monteiro was born as the daughter of the actor couple Felisberto Robles Monteiro (1889-1958) and Amélia Rey Colaço (1898-1990). In September 1947 she married the architect Emílio Gomes Lino (1916-1958), and the marriage had three children .
Her artistic career began in 1946 at the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II in Lisbon in a performance of Sophocles' Antigone . For her portrayal in the film Um Dia de Vida , she received the Óscar da Imprensa in 1962. On television she was seen in Vila Faia (1982), Chuva na Areia (1984), Cinzas (1992), Roseira Brava (1995) and Vidas de Sal (1996).
