Marianne Curley
Marianne Curley (born May 20, 1959 in Windsor , New South Wales ) is an Australian writer for young people.
Life
Marianne Curley grew up in a suburb of Sydney and became a book lover at an early age. At the age of nine she took care of the school library. After finishing school in 1976, she worked as a secretary in a law firm for five years, then married and had three children.
Then she discovered writing for herself, took writing classes and published her first novel specifically for young readers. She has now written four novels that have been translated into various languages, including German .
