Marianne König
Marianne König (born February 20, 1954 in Fredelsloh ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). From 2008 to 2013 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .
Life
König graduated from secondary school in 1969 and then trained as a dental assistant. After a few years in this profession, she later completed further training as a nurse. From 1998, until she moved into the Lower Saxony state parliament, she worked part-time as a health and nurse for the state of Lower Saxony. In October 2007 she was taken over by the AEOS Clinic in Osnabrück. She is married with two children, her second husband has three grown children. Until 1991 she was a member of the SPD, in 1998 she joined the PDS, after the merger with the WASG she became a member of the party Die Linke. König was state treasurer and accountant at the state association of the party Die Linke in Lower Saxony. In the state elections in 2008, she drew the left into the Lower Saxony state parliament via the party's state list.
In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2013 , the left could not overcome the five percent hurdle , so they left the state parliament.
